Week 6 – The Deep Church course has sought to help us better understand our role as the people of God within the culture in which we live. But in this year of Mission we also need to take this understanding out into the wider community. We shall be exploring how we might take Deep Church forward in future months, possibly meeting at the different churches in Nailsea on an ongoing basis as a means of learning more about early church history; creeds and doctrine; the moral and ethical challenges of contemporary culture; how to be in the world but not of it.
