Tuesday Tots is a Drop-In 9:30am – 11:30am on Tuesday mornings during term time only. It is for any parent, grandparent and childminders with babies, toddlers and pre-school children. Activities take place in the hall with lots of toys to play with, a craft table and refreshments. Children can listen to stories and everyone can join in with singing time at around 10:20am. The last session before the school holidays sees everyone having singing and story time in the church.
Adults register on their first visit but because of the size of the hall occasionally a waiting list has to be put in place until children move on to playgroup or school but families will be kept updated on vacancies.
For more details, contact Tuesday Tots at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Christ Church Tiddlers, click here
Tiddlers at Christ Church is for bumps, babies, toddlers and pre-school children with their parents/grandparents/carers. We meet on Friday afternoons in term time from 1:15pm until 2:45pm in the Vestry Hall, which is next door to the church.
During the afternoon there are usually craft activities such as painting, playdough and sticking, as well as toys, puzzles, books and refreshments. We end with songs and a short story that about once a month has a Christian theme.
Do come and join us for play and friendship. We look forward to welcoming you.

It belongs to the Baths and Wells Multi Academy Trust, which serves to reinforce our drive for constant improvement within the context of nurturing Christian values. There are close links with our partner church, Christ Church in Nailsea, which makes an active contribution to the work of the school. There are two members of Christ Church on the Local Governing Board. Find Kingshill Church School at: http://kingshillbwmat.org

OUR CHILDREN AT CHURCH
At Tickenham, we have a small team that helps support the children’s work in church throughout the year. These consist of activity mornings, learning about life at sea, making rafts and knot boards, learning more about the church, creating lots of art, including beautiful “stained glass windows”, making peppermint creams and coffee creams and orange creams – some rather runnier and less willing to set than others – and making a lovely wreath of hands. We also built a spectacular Santa’s sleigh and recruited several, willing stand-in reindeers. The school services have filled the church to standing room only, especially the end of school year service and at Harvest and Christmas. The Easter Sunday service and Easter egg hunt is always a popular event; Christingle is particularly well attended and a beautiful and moving service. We hold celebration services in Tickenham School every Friday afternoon (at 2:45pm), which are also very popular and involve enthusiastic singing and clapping. Welcoming children and young families will always be a key priority in our church life and it is good for the soul to see the church so enjoyed.
